In the following room, how would you design a HT giving the following considerations:
1. The mains are of primary concern for music also 2. The primary listening volume will be around 80db, and only cranked to 90-95db maybe once a month, but never over that. 3. 65 watts per channel 4. Deep subwoofer as possible. http://hilltop.bradley.edu/~bjackson/Apartment/Main.JPG http://hilltop.bradley.edu/~bjackson/Apartment/door.JPG http://hilltop.bradley.edu/~bjackson...ment/couch.JPG http://hilltop.bradley.edu/~bjackson/Apartment/side.JPG All of the speakers in the room currently seen are going to go. They sound like crap. I think that anything I make would sound better (although I might tinker with them and upgrade the x-o later). Any ideas? Also, I'm on a college budget so not TOO expensive. I am not sold on a specific budget at the moment. I want a wide open sound with the surrounds like a theater, but a very musical sound with the mains, as I listen to music A LOT. Thanks for any replies! |

I can't access the pictures. The links you posted bring a page saying that the object does not exist.

Do yourself a favor and base your HT system on a CXjr. from Smart Devices. This enables you to have a great HT system with uncompromised Hifi sound.

Wow, that was so random and had absolutly nothing to do with my question.
Seriously though, does anyone have any thoughts? |

I'm sorry you were talking about main speakers. Maybe look at Madisounds Cygnet kit?
