Will either the WM-62 or WM-66 work in place of a WM-61? The local shop stocks the 62 and 66 but would require a special order for the 61.

The 62 should work...it's a discontinued model, but Panasonic recommends using the 64 in it's place, and the 64 data looks fine:
http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/..._bc_bk_dne.pdf The 66 is another matter. It's a noise cancelling mic and doesn't look to be appropriate: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/...7_d103_dne.pdf The WM62 may be physically smaller and more difficult to work with. Here's the datasheet to the WM61, so you can compare specs. etc: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/...61_a_b_dne.pdf |

It's a surplus store. I think everything they sell is discontinued
The 62 is only $2 and no shipping to worry about so I'll get a few. Thanks
