Default Modifications to Wallins Jig 2

Hello all,

I dont know if this is the right place to post this.

I have been thinking of making the Wallins Jig 2 for the past few days. Could someone help me out with the following queries

1. Does the sound card (usually) support input voltage upto 5V assuming i am using the unmodified line in. If not can i reduce the zeners to may be 3.3 V. Does this affect my measurement?

2. Do I need the calibration resistance (16 ohm and 4 ohm) for measurement? If I remove that will it affect the measurement in any way?

3. If I include the same voltage divider n/w (10db and 20db) in Left ouput for the right will there be any problems? (I think this will make the sound card more safe ).

Thanx in Advance,

Venki.
