Default Replace a broken horn driver

Hi everyone :-)

I need to replace a broken 1 3/8 horn driver from a cheap PA speaker. The driver has no name on it, so i took it apart to se what kind it was. Inside it looks like there a both a piezo element glued to a diaphrame and a voicecoil ? There is no magnet.

How can that be ? What kind driver is this ? Is it a Piezo ?

Kind regards, Stormo.

If it is a piezo, you might consider stepping up the quality a bit. IMO the only thing more irritating than a piezo is a compression piezo. Are there two speakers? If so you'll have to buy two anyway as you won't be able to match the sound of old and new very well.
