Default 6x9 FR speakers - what cabinet size?

Hi!

Just bought a pair os BM Boschmann XLR-9948E, 4-way speakers. I know they are for car-audio use, but they sound excellent!
My question is: what cabinet size should i use, or a simple wooden frame like this from fellow member Jean Marc P:

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...amp=1128611749

would do.

It's going to be powered by a 2W 2A3 SE amp in my room.

Many thanks

I've moved the thread to here. Hopefully you'll get a better response.

Do you have a woofer?

If no, I'd put them in a vented box, if yes OB might be a good idea except that you won't get the OB effect on the three drivers in the center so you'll have to hope they are crossed over fairly high.

Do you have the info on the speakers?

I would try using wood for the cabinets.

I apreciate your reponse and of having moved the post. Thank you.
I have made 8 liter cabinets for them in pine, sealed, after managing to talk to an acquaintance. I hope they play nice, i'm still waiting fot the varnish to dry...
I don't have many specs on them, except the ones in the box/website ( www.bmboschmann.com )

Thank you once again
