Default Are these cabinets a good deal??

Hi,

These cabinets are on sale today at PE

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...00&dotd=120705

I know when you offset the tweeter the cabinets should be mirror images of each other. Would these sound OK?

Thanks & Best

I did a pair of speakers this way (mismirrored) and it was noticable. I have since begun paying a great deal of attention to proper mirror imaging, and am using stepped baffles besides....

If you turn one of the speakers upside down then they'll match!

Seriously, for the price I'd go for it. If you have the tools you can cut a hole out of one of them on the proper side of the baffle and use it to plug the other one! Or remove the baffle and flip it over.

Great Idea SD. Orders some & will find out how easily the baffle comes off.

Just keep the grilles on. It won't bother you near as much
