I've just installed a new Sub and moved my computer around a bit, and I thought I would test the integration with some low frequency sweeps.
There seems to be spikes in the signal coming from my computer, on the monitors it sounds like a pop like when the signal is interrupted briefly, and on the sub it sounds like someone banging on a door.
The signal from the audiofile soundcard is going through a cheap celestion sub at the moment that provides some decent in/out line level plugs. But essentially the celestion is on standby.
the frequency sweeps were fine a few months ago, but these pops only happen with very low sweeps, music is fine, what could be happening? Is it safe for my genelec ?
