Where to get good veneer in Canada?

Anyone have any sources for birch or maple veneer in canada?

I'd prefer not to order from the States.

i just picked up some nice maple from am wood http://www.amwoodinc.com/

nice stuff.it's paperbacked and very flexiable.comes in 36 or 48 x 96. but be warned than their exotic stuff is quite dry and warped.also try lee valley tools

The only prob with windsor plywood is that none of there stuff is paper backed.. I tried using that stuff and it cracked very easily.

I called up a&m and they only sell raw cut stuff, 14" max width.

Guy's we have a local supplier in NewWestminister called Team Wood.
They have 28 species instock at all times.
4X8 sheets 4X10 sheets along with 10-30mil

This is a wholesale location so for those who do not have a business we could help out in small sheet.

I will say we (RAW) do have a few sheets of 10X4 Red Oak 20mil we can sell off to those who are looking for a good veneer for $85.00 CND per 10 X 4 sheet 20 mil for Red Oak.
These sheets work great as they are grained the other way not long width but short.
The grain goes across the 4ft direction not the long direction of the sheet.
Less waste as long as the cabinets are smaller that 49"

Feel free to drop a line if you would like a hand for veneer.If I can help you out I will as we have a large stock of veneer on hand at most times.Exotics as well.And even RAW veneer .From Bubinga to Waterfall Sapele.
But real un backed veneer is not easy to work with and you must take care in handling it.

I suggest taking a small piece and practising with it. An ordinary iron on "steam" is real handy for forming those rounded corners
