I was thinking of just using fiberglass resin. I have one or 2 where the T-nuts came out(removing some mdf) so was going to replace them. Haven't tried but perhaps the mdf absorbs resine too much....

Maybe if you covered the bolt in grease and applied the GG to the nuts with the bolt in place, it would stop the threads getting GG in them and allow you to easily remove the bolt? I reckon epoxy glue would be better than GG though. |

Does anyone have problems with air leaks through the threads?
Just to be sure, on the sub I'm building I epoxied in 1 1/2" long hardwood dowels and threaded them 10-24 (5 mm for you metric guys) for machine screws.

I glued them in with 'No More Nails' which I believe is a polyurathene based glue similar to Gorilla Glue. Just a splodge under when they are halfway in.
Although I've never had a problem with a tee nut falling out even when not glued.
