The question in short is can I eliminate the fuse in these crossovers?
I'm rebuilding a pair of Spectrum 208's (refoamed, new cabinets, vents, binding posts, etc.). My question is that the crossover has a fuse in it. I am going to replace the cap with Solen's, but can I bypass the fuse entirely? The speakers are over 20 years old, and I've never blown a fuse on them yet. They are not worth a whole lot of money, but I thought I would rebuild them after the foam rotted in the woofers. Doug |

Thank you. I was 90 percent certain I could, but I just wanted to make sure.
