Default ascendant's tweeter

(sorry for my english)
Yesterday I went to house of my friend for a listening test of a pair of Avalon Ascendant. Big surprise, the tweeter is not the same of the photo of the avalon's website but, to my eyes it appears very similar
at the "old" MB of the Avatar's exerpt for the presence of a perforated black grille. Unfortunately I haven't a pic at the moment.
I am intrigued also from the woofers, the cone is similar to the Eton but the "alu-frame" seems to me different ( vifa? SS? seas?).
If someone have info about or comments I 'll appreciate it.
Cheers,

the tweeter is a proprietary tweeter that eton makes only for them, the older one was scrapped for this one and the crossover was completely redesigned. The woofers are eton.
