Default FE108EZ or VIfa PL11-MG09-08

Hey guys,

I want to know as to which of these two drivers would be best for use as a midrange. I will be using Peter Daniel's LM4780 in parallel mode per driver(midrange) in an active 3 way.
The Fosetx FE108EZ
Vifa PL 11-MG-09-08(would prefer the MH version but doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the US)

The xover points are 350 hz and 3400Hz.

The Fostex being 85$(the VIfa 35$) is it worth going for it considering that i will be using a chip amp and limiting it to those freqs.

For the highs i have a Vifa D27 tweeter and for the lows i have a Dayton 10 inch Classic.

The reason am particular about these two are because i need the outer flange to be between 125mm and 128mm(circular only).

would be great if u can recommend any other drivers with the same dimensions for the above application.

Your opinions would on this would be very much appreciated.

Regards,
Sachi

Compared to the Fostex FE-108EZ how does this scanspeak measure up as a midrange.

Hi!

Take a look at this:

The Fr is way smoother that the Fostex's!
