My son has a Peavey Bandidt 112 we replaced the old crapy Scorpion with a H&H Pro model 1200 12" speaker as suggested by a freind. I've tried to find info on this unit but no luck. I read somewere some time ago about Pa speakers and remember something about H&H. This company was from Cambridge England as printed on the speaker. It has a huge alnico magnet ( i think?) Does anyone have any info on this unit??

Mark,
Occasionally we see some HH in this neck if the woods -- haven't actually seen any for a while ... more often the amps than the speakers. dave

HH are long gone. I quite liked their gear. Its funny how if something happened before the internet, there's no record of it.
Have you tried any of the guitar or bass forums? The Bandit was a favorite of mine too. Have you concidered dropping a Black Widow in there (as nature intended). I dropped one into my TNT130 Bass amp and ....... actually, no differerence at all. I was limited for choice since the TNTs use 4ohm drivers The other way of thinking about it is:- If you try it and you blow it up, then you only blew up an old cheap speaker. If you try it and it sounds bad ( check with an established guitarist) then it was old any way. If you try it and it sounds great then it sounds great. Guitar never was about being correct anyway
