This is a wierd question. Right now I have a line array with 16 mids, and 9 tweeters. I'm wanting to shorten my midrange line, and lengthen my tweeter line. Since I have my baffles made, i'd like to convert my top and bottom most mids into midbass's. I'd have them play from 250hz down. This should have with baffle step. With my close spacing of the midrange drivers, I cant easily build a box behind my cabinet. I can easily build one in front though. So I guess my question is, is there a problem with running these speakers in this rear firing monopole fashion?

And this with the changes made. Of course the blacked out parts would be sealed enclosures.

Its not clear to me where (in which plane) you want to mount the speakers and which direction they will be firing.
Without that information I canīt give any impression/advice or whatsoever.
