I just got my copy of the October HiFi News (from the UK) and read Keith Howard's attempts to measure the biwire effect. Specifically, he's trying to do it based on Jon Risch's ideas in http://www.geocities.com/jonrisch/biwiring.htm and http://www.geocities.com/jonrisch/page7.htm.
Unfortunately he fails to measure discernable differences, which means it is still unresolved. I'm still a fence sitter on this issue (and not really wanting to start much of a discussion - just pointing out an article which I can't find online). I've heard differences, but generally only with 'difficult' speakers (and underpowered amps), and I was biwiring using the A+B speakers taps (so it might have been 'bi-amping'). Good read. P.S. Mods - if this belongs somewhere else (like Texas) then so be it:-)
