I need to choose a DOME MID that can cover the ear sensitive area , from say,800hz to 4khz. any suggestins on available drivers . no ATC DOME MID, something reasonably priced, ie morel,visaton, hivi. eg JP3 +VISATON DSM 50FFL+SEAS L18..peterpan

Take a look at some of Tang Bang's 4", 3" or even 2" drivers. Haven't heard them, but they are priced OK and the graphs on Part Express's website look like similar to what you describe for a range.
For Example: Tang Bang 4" @ Parts Express
