Question Seas P17REX TL Recommendation

i got a seas Embla kit which uses P17REX... built according to spec of the box from seas and not quite satisfied with the result... wanted to transform that into a TL...

went to www.quarter-wave.com downloaded the mathlab 8 and the TL worksheet... and clueless on how to use it... hopefully anyone knowledgable can recommend some enclosure measurement... my room size is (hxwxd) 3m x 4m x 5m

i know some of the forumer have done a TL with P17REX... hopefully they can share it here

The P17REX should work well in my tapered pipe.

http://www.partsexpress.com/projects...pes/pipes.html

This pipe can be straightened and made into a (shudder) rectangular box if you really have to

They will also work well with a series x-o , and with one of the Seas 27Tf series should sound pretty darn good !

Default calculation

TL lenght - 175 cm

Fb - 49.1 Hz

constant cross section - 150 cm2

Hawaphon at all wals. Little wool behind bass driver.

x-over 6/12 or 6/18 dB/oct.

This is my calculation. I didn"t work with this unit.
