That's what I would expect, except at a lower frequency since Jim's version crosses over below 2000 hz.

Hello there,

I am not quite sure,
looks like they did a mod on the xover as well, the alum panels at the front. They also mention that the dip in the freq response is caused by the shape of the frontpanel around the tweeters (so rounded edges should fix it). apart from that it looks the same to me. |

Any Idea what the physical size is? That is what made the most difference.

They kept the size the same, just the phase on the outside of the cabinet was added.

I have finally been able to carry out an FR plot. This is for the Small Thor with D'Apollito crossover. As has been stated before there doesn't seem to be any problem with suppression of the hf resonance in the magnesium cones.
