B&W DM-220 Replacement Tweeters

Hi all

I am new to the forums and thought I would join up. I am far from an audiophile but do enjoy my music. Limited budget though.

Now to my question. I have a pair of B&W DM220 that used to perform reasonably well. One has now blown a tweeter and according to our local Australian distributor they have not been available since 2002. Can anyone recommend a replacement tweeter that would closely match what is already in there. On the back of the tweeter is TP 26, 8 Ohm. I do not want to do anything else to the units, just replace the tweeters. BTW, these are being driven by a Denon DRA550 receiver, old I know but pretty much all I need.

Cancel this request, I have decided to replace my speakers and figure out what to do with the remaining good DM-220.

you could replace both tweeters at the BW with a better pair and design a new crossover, what do you think about it as a project ?
