Planning to upgrade the cross over of my SF Concerto Home. What what i've read on the forums, changing the caps yields good results. I saw a 6.8uf (Tweeter) and 10uF (Woofer) . I plan to use Mundorf Supreme caps .. is it worth a try or do you have any other brands to recommend ( Hovland / Solen ?? )
I've also read other tweaks like "bypassing" the caps with GOOD quality film caps (like auricap). What value should i use ? How about the internal wirings , any recommendations ? I am using Audio Quest CV6 with DBS speaker cable. cheers, jomar |
