Hi guy,
I have question about morel tweeter's. I looking for cross my midrange unit with the tweeter over 3500 - 4000 Hz. My question is if even if I cross my tweeter high, the supreme110 is superior on sound quality from the MDT43? Thanks. |

The supreme is actually a MDT33 on steroids.
They both share the same moving mass and similar motors but distortion is reduced on the supreme as well an increase in sensitivity. A good person to ask about the supreme on here would be David Gatti, he's built a very nice speaker called the Delta that uses the supreme along with other high quality drivers from scanspeak and audiotechnology. I'm not familar at all with the MDT43 but the supreme would eat a 3.5Khz for breakfast and with very good THD figures. |
