I have some drivers that apparently have the proper specs to be used in an aperiodic box.
There is already a sealed box design for these drivers, so how would I translate this existing box to one that uses an aperiodic vent? Can I just put the aperiodic vents in the box and then try to tune it via the filtering, or do I need to adjust the size of the box as well? After searching through the forums, I found some good information describing what happens with an aperiodic vent, but perhaps I don't know enough about speaker design to translate this into a box. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks! KT |

The box itself is only needs to be large enough to fit the driver. From there you can construct the vent behind it and tune to your liking
