Default Advice on a couple of different driver choices please :).

Hello

I was wondering if someone would help me choose some drivers please.

This is what I have narrowed it down to so far.

Definite - Seas Woofers L22RN4X/P x 1 per cabinet.

86dB ~ 8 ohm ~ 221mm o/dia ~86mm deep ~ 39mm vc ~ 125w power ~23Hz Fs ~ 20-1kHz range

Midrange

Choice of either...

Peerless 830882 HDS Exclusive (Reference #peer50)

88.2dB ~ 8 ohm ~ 152mm dia.overall~ 66mm deep~26mm vc ~ 64.5 Hz Fs~60-8kHz freq. range

Or

MW144 polymer Bass/mid(Reference #mor18)

88dB ~ 8 ohm ~ 142mm o/dia ~ 52mm deep ~ 75mm vc ~ 150w power ~ 45Hz Fs ~ 48-5000Hz range

Tweeter

27TBFC/G (H1212) aluminium dome Tweeter(Reference #seas3b)

92dB ~ 6 ohm ~ 104mm o/dia ~ 43mm deep ~ 26mm vc ~ 90w power ~ 550Hz Fs ~ 1.5-20kHz range

Or

Visaton G25 FFL | 8 Ohm 25mm fabric dome driver

Mean sound pressure level 90 dB (1 W/1m) Resonance frequency 1500 Hz from http://www.impactaudio.co.uk/product.asp?ref=592

...

The box will be a ported 50l tuned to 32 Hz which gives me +1 dB ish from about 35Hz to about 175 Hz and tails off so it's 3dB down at about 27Hz and 350Hz according to WinISD

I'm going to start off with a 1st order low pass at 365 and bandpass the mid at 275 to win back the low end loss from the woofer at that frequency (I’m using 2 amps) and 3650 ish – the tweeter will be crossed at 3650 give or take, I'll pad down the tweeter and it'll get more complicated from there I expect... Part of the reason to build this is so I can learn speaker workshop properly which is why the crossover is so basic to start with, yes I know I should not just guess the crossover. and I will start with cheap components for anything I don't already have so I don't waste loads of cash

Anyway. I have never used any of these drivers so I was wondering which you though would be best out of my choices or something else altogether and if you have had good or bad experiences with them.

I'd use the MW144 with the 27TBFCG.
