Default Looking for someone to put a crossover together for me

Hi guys, im fairly new to DIY speaker buliding, while i have the wood working skills in check i have absolutely no electronic skills. I have finished my cabinents housing a vifa p17 driver paired with a vifa d25ag tweeter, and i got my friends to put together the crossover. I am really dissappointed with the end result of the sound, and i trust that my box and port tuning is of good design, so i guess the crossover has not been put together correctly. So i was wondering if there is anyone kind enough to put my crossover together using the parts i have and the crossover schematics, and of course i am willing to pay for this service. If anyone in melbourne, australia is willing to help me out please let me know. Thanks

Perhaps if you post the current design and tell what you don't like about it, it would be easier to provide recommendations.

He don't want recommendations, he want someone to build it for him for money in return. If I was living in Australia, I'd probably doing it right now hehe!

Ebay or Yahoo are good places to bid. He might find somthing there. I could consider overseas delivery and service.

I've been to Australia a few times, love it, even have time-share there.

I will second Madisound -- have used their boards and components. I have also used the boards from PartsExpress in Dayton OH,.

I knew Madisound designed crossovers, but I was unawre they would build also. How much do they charge to build? Is it the cost of the components plus a nominal fee?? According to their website, you can only use thier service if they stock the drivers. Is this still true?

I wish I could help but I am in Sydney. If you could find or key in the FRD (frequency response file) and ZMA (impedance response file) you could send them to me along with your speaker enclosure measurements then I might be able to nock off a not-perfect but fairly good crossover for you for free. You might need to do some fine-tuning by yourself after that.
