Altec to JBL

Hello

I have friend want make this configuration in two ways:

Altec 416a 35 to 1400 Hz and JBL 077 1400 Hz to 20 KHz, the 077 equipped with a special horn… so what you think from the crossover Altec 1400 Hz and JBL.
The 077 is the thru can function with this crossover!
I search also all the technical doc/info from the Altec 416 A

The 077 is little good below 7kHz and is best used above 10kHz. The JBL 075 ("Bullet" Horn Tweeter) is usable down to 3500Hz but even that would not live long having to reproduce 1400Hz.

For this you will need to get an 075 and raise the crossover frequency to at least 3500Hz. Alternatively, you could find the LE85 horn driver with an appropriate horn like the JBL LE91 or LE 92. This type combination was used in the old L200 Studio Monitors.
