sdclc126, I don't have the gear to measure the output from a waveguide...or any speaker as of just yet. I do have the lathe(s) upon which to make waveguides.

I have a measurement setup but no lathe .

I would have liked to have one . I have some plans on building a gadget like they use to make pottery ! Can make a plaster of paris mould with that.

I think the tweeter setup doesn't limit the sound pressure, it is the xmax of the 830870 that limits the listening volume. Not that I ever would want to listen that loud, anyway.

The wood is 22mm birch finished with osmo-color clear wax. I just went to a local wood store and had a birch board cut to pieces according to measures and glued the pieces together home.

The simulation propably doesn't take account the rising response of waveguide towards the about 2k limit. See zaphaudio.com waveguide tests for more informations. It would be better to measure the response.
