Default Need help finding mid priced kit

My brother has a pair of BR1 monitor speakers from partsexpress. I think these are pretty good but I would like to go one step above these without jumping $200 in price. The BR1's cost $120 but they have the port in the rear.. I am restricted in space and would like something with a front firing port. Can you guys point me in the right direction? I'm thinking about $200 bux for a pair will be fine.
