Does anyone know specifically what drivers are used in PMC loudspeakers?
I'm specifically looking at the models: TB2S http://www.pmcloudspeaker.com/tb2s.html IB1S http://www.pmcloudspeaker.com/ib1s.html Thanks. |

PMC use Vifa, Volt, ATC and some in-house drivers in their designs.

the TB2 uses Vifas, the IB1 looks like vifa mid and tweet and I believe the LF unit is an in house job, it looks like the old Elemental Designs flat cone subs but no way would they play high enough to be a midbass.

It's hard to tell just by looking, since they often use modified versions that look the same. SVS use a TC sounds driver that looks identical to the AE speakers AV12, but its actually a modified version of a TC sounds driver. I also thought that a Genelec subwoofer used the XLS, however, when I saw it, I was clearly wrong. Similar but different.
Why do you want to know?

Incase you didn't know by now, the tweeters used in almost all of PMCs range is the Vifa D27TG-35-06 and in the TB2, the midbass unit is a Vifa M17WG-09 |
