I am after 92db mid for my 3way, although this is 99db - I figure I can lose 6 or 7db - any problems with adding larger series resistor to attenuate?
Seems a few people like the PR170m - what about the Aerogel version? |

I run the aerogel woofers and mid in my don olsher design and they are fantastic now audax has all but discontinued these woofers but Zalytron has the ht170z0 on clearance for 20$ the specs are as followed
CONE TYPE: HD-A SIZE: 6.50in SPL(2.83v): 91db WATTS: 60 Z: 8ohms FS: 42Hz RANGE: 42-2.5Khz VAS: 48ltr Qts: .35 Xmax: +/-3.5mm PRICE: for 20 bucks thats a great deal! you loose the cast basket they are poly baskets i beleive call them and ask...btw they only have 7 left |
