hello everybody,
this is a great place where i can let my insecurity of soldering out. I want to solder a normal hifi speaker cable into a 1/4 jack. i donot have a volt-meter to check for +ve/-ve, and neither do i know which poles of the plug are +/-ve. can anybody help me? help will be very much appreciated regards saif |

thansk very much for the info, but i also need to know, whether the red part of the speaker needs to be soldered onto tip or sleeve?
