Default cheap,easy box design

i was at home depot the other day and found some factory pre-cut 3/4" particale board. 36"x7.5".i figured this might work to put together a small pair of floor standers.i picked up a 2 bundles of 5 for $24 ,choped one piece at 6" for tops/bottoms and assembled.to my surprise, the cuts were accurate.everything fit very nicely.
less than an hour i had a couple 23l boxes(before bracing)

this might be good for people with limited tools and skills.these pieces are actually "risers" for stairs.you will not find them in the normal lumber section.

figured this might be helpful to some

HD will cut sheet material down to size. Just take it over to the panel saw. The accuracy of the cuts will depend on who is running the saw so you might want to avoid a busy weekend. IIRC a certain numbers of cuts are free.

Rona does the same thing I think.
