Hi all
Just a quick question about DVC drivers. What (if any) is the advantage/disadvantage of wiring the coils in either 4 or 8ohm configurations? I'll be using them in an array of four 12's per side and wiring them for 4 or 8 ohms (parallel/series) depending on how I wire the coils themselves. I'd prefer to end up with 4 ohms because of the extra sensitivity (I don't mind the loss of efficiency) but I've never worked with DVC's before and I'm sure there's something I don't know about them. Anyone have opinions one way or another? Thanks, Allan |
