Question Concentric driver AND series XO

Has anyone tried or examined the idea of using a series filter with a concentric driver like a Kef Uni-Q generation x or Tannoy Dual concentric or SEAS xx or..?

Any thoughts are welcome. I like the idea of having no place induced phase problems which would give the series XO a good change to work.

from what I know the HF unit in a concentric driver does not have the bandwidth to work will with a series XO. then again I have only seen the Tannoy 10" that were on the market in the early 90s.

However I intend to do this with Coax drivers for my car. will broadcast news when that is done (donthold your breath - I have 2 projects underway - an amp and a speaker and 2 more speakers on hold that are more urgent that this idea).
