Can anyone simulate these Vifa's for me please.

I have 2 Vifa P13WH's (8 ohms in paralell = 4 ohms) in an MTM arrangement with a Vifa XT25 (4 ohms).

I need a frequency response simulation based on the following XO points:

P13's are connected to the amplifier via the following in series:

1) 0.3mH
2) 55uF

The XT25 is simply a 4.7uF polypropylene.

Based on the cross over freq's, what kind of response am I getting... ear tells me I need to attenuate XT25 by 2-3 db...

Why dont you do this yourself? Unless we have measured responses from your cabinets with the drivers in them results will be innacurate to say the least.

As we dont have this what will be involved is someone going to all the effort of making frd and zmas from SPLtrace, this you can do. And you can model with them on Aduas speaker workshop.

Also this is an open baffle, so the enclusure is not a biggie in this case.

Good question? anyone know where adua is? I have searched several times for various different things and get nothing appart from links to DIY audio talking about the program. I have searched before and never had a problem findind it. Odd.

Being an openbaffle is not much of a consequence unless you are looking to see what happens at the lower end of the speakers response.

My point exactly hence my "open" request .

I am not worried about the response below 400Hz just above, based on driver sensitivities and my crossover points, I need to know if there are suck-outs or bumps from 400Hz to 40kHz.

Take a look at troels website, he has a study on openbaffles and their effect on the frequency response. Basically DONT mount your drivers central.

Ah I see. I would go with H. Just for you information I have made an open baffle actually with the W15CY001 used here that is just over 30cm wide. A sort of cross between C and E, measured result? an exact replica of what is written here.

I think I read and posted about dont mounting in the centre because I had looked here before and thought H would be best for my situation.

Here is my measurement of the W15 in a 30cm open baffle, with a 2nd order 300hz hp and 3rd order 3000hz lp.
