Default resolution loudspeaker?

hi there,

Has anybody heard or listened to this loudspeaker known as resolution, they say it's the worlds best loudspeaker . Is it true?

That is know as one of the biggest audio ripoffs ever. It's just a dressed up $5 el cheapo car audio triax speaker.

I haven't heard it, but I've seen it posted a few times before- here and other forums. I think people agree that it is NOT the "world's best loudspeaker", but it might sound OK.

If you're looking for the world's best- I think that the flagship Nautilus from B&W is surely better than this; the Orion from Linkwitz Labs is also likely to be in a higher class.

I don't know if other people will mention it, but saying "best" is really hard to define! Best for who? For what purpose?

That guy phoned me out of the blue one day -- he certainly thinks (or talks like he does -- that this is indeed a steear speaker. I have my doubts.

I doubt that any speaker can be technically defined as the worlds best. Each design has its benefits for a specific environment. If any speaker can make live band performance versus recorded performance indistinguishable, then it might be the best.
