I have built for a frient roughly Mini Onken enclosures for some old coax speakers.
He occupied himself about the finish, and it is very specially I think, it is worth to present it to the community... Franz |

... and this are the speakers inside:
some old Mustang M-12T (University Sound, a Division of LTV Ling Altec Inc) 12" coax speakers. Please remark the very flat cone. Franz |

... just in case you don't like the grid in front of the speakers: just have a look at the foreground, then you may accept it to protect the rare speakers.

How they sound?
Fascinating, powerfull, strong and deep bass. Very good soundstage. Not absolutely perfect in every detail, some kind of "tube" sound. It reminds me very strong on old good cinema equipment. In my small room (<20m2) the bass is too loud, too strong. Overall: I like it! The Dalmatian pattern makes them appear smaller than they really are. Franz |

They blend in well with the surroundings.
