Actually a nice sounding speaker, as far as I remember. At least to my ears at the time (i.e. years ago).

Also the kind of speaker that offered the macho pride of "impossible to drive hence only megawatt PS need apply", etc.

Ahh, the "5"!

MB Quart.. their midrange dome was all the rage at that time.

In point of fact (having listened to both the "7" and the "5"), the 7 really isn't better than the old 5i (in some respects it sounds better, but in other respects the 5i sounds better).

Basically the photos got sent a a guy here at work and we were trying to work out what they were.. all that $$$ gear belongs to his brother in laws father
