Has anyone worked with or have thoughts about such a balanced topology. Would there be any inherent advantage? Certainly it would be more elaborate and in most cases more costly. Also there is an increase in shunt capacitance but maybe that is not all bad.

For those who don't know what I am talking about, longitudinal balance deals with matching the currents in the two legs of speaker wires and can be easily accomplished coupling two inductors one for the + and one for the -. Of course direction of flow through the inductors has to be the same otherwise inductance will be reduced as it in increased when done otherwise.

thanks
