Default Home depot sound insulation material for closed box woofer

Are these good for padding inside your woofer encloser?

A lot of diy design use bitumen but can you use these instead? They cost about 8.00 for a 4x8 ft which is kind of cheap.

The one I saw at HD looks almost like carpet padding but I was told they are specifically for sound insulation.

What else do you need besides these?
