hello everybody,
I am cosidering to buy this driver: monacor sph 200ke to be a mid/bass driver. I would cut it of on 2khz. I have my doubts about it beeing a good mid driver because of large mms and large diameter. Does anybody have experience with this driver in a 2 way BR box? http://www.monacor.de/int/en/produktseite_monacor.php?artid=2074&spr=EN&typ=u |

A friend of mine has built some 2way BR floorstanders with those and gets great results.

The 200ke is an excelent driver, very deep bass (35 liters).
The midrange is also very smooth (no cone breakup). You can use it up to 2khz. It's also very easy to x-over. Just use a 2,2 mh inductor and you'll allready get great results, it can't be more simple ! |
