Exclamation I think i finally did some damage

so I was running through a 20khz - 20hz sine wave on my home theater (at mid-low volume) just for the hell of it... during the 3rd run (on my Triune center channel) around 500hz, my amp kicked off and the Midbass drivers in the speaker went full x-max and stayed there for a second or so...

my amp no longer stays powered up for more than a half second and while it's on, it puts out one frequency (similar to that of the 500hz estimate) and goes into standby/protection mode without a source connected...

it's my uneducated guess that the frequency running when it all happend was close 4ohms and overloaded my amp as even after letting it cool for a while (it had been playing music for about 6 hours beforehand) it responds the same...

I have no way of testing my triune at the moment so im just wondering if it's alright... i know you guys dont know for sure but gimme your guesses and I'll hope for the best.

Not familiar with the triune... it may be OK, it may be toast, or somewhere in between... there is certainly something toasted in your amp... the question is whether the speakers survived it's death.
