Default Dayton ND20TA

Does anybody have any experience with this tweeter? How does it sound?
Also in the crossover direction, if were to match The Dayton 6-1/2" classic woofer, what would be the best thing to do? Use a 2-Ohm non-inductive tweeter and use an 8 ohm L-Pad? (Or can I use an 8ohm L-pad on the 6 ohm tweeter with no effect?) Or should I use a Zobel network? (I'd need help with that, it's over my head right now, and I have too much else going on that I cna't spend the time to read up on it. I'm shooting for an 8-ohm speaker. Thanks guys,
Matt

I've used it and for the cost, I'm very happy.

But, you can forget about using it with that woofer. The tweeter is useless below 3500 or 4khz, and there's no way that woofer is playing a note over 2k, and even that is pushing it with the breakup less than an octave above. To get away with that woofer, you need a MUCH more robust tweeter.

For the money, I'd just buy the BR1 kit from PE. Same woofer, and a much more robust tweeter, with the enclosures for around the same price it would cost you to just buy the drivers. It also comes with a pre-designed crossover and all the parts to assemble it. You can't go wrong. Since I'm guessing you aren't set up to do your own measurements or design your own filters, you'll never get anywhere near what the kit is going to provide for sound quality and value.

The problem is, I'd much rather build the whole thing myself, I can switch to a more robust tweeter I was just hoping to get away with using this one, any suggestions?
btw, I'm trying to stay far away from kits, I've built a couple of full rangers, but this is my first time getting into two-way, I'm winding my own coils and building my own enclosure, much cheaper and more satisfying to me
Thanks, I'll be looking for another tweeter,
Matt
