Does anyone have any data/info/recollections on "Optonica" speakers. The model I'm interested in has a 10" bass unit and dome mid and highs. I understand that they were produced from the late 1970's

These speakers were made in the early 70s. I have a pair which are excellent speakers with a ribon tweeter. At the time they cost $2000
each. Yes $4000 a pair but they are of studio quality. |

Thanks for that. Trouble is I've missed them now. They were going cheap at a second hand shop and I should have bought them. I thought the drivers might have been good Fostex/Foster units. I should really get on a "12 Step program" for "Speakers Anonymous" as I didn't need them and there are only so many pairs of speakers you can listen to at any one time!
