Default Anyone use TB's 8" X 12" driver?

Has anyone done a project on the TB W8Q-1071 driver? Here it is:

http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1208_03/w8q-1071.htm

Will work nicely with the Narrow footprint I am looking for.

WinISD plots a really nice box at 1.5 cubic feet and tuned to 30hz; or a 1 cuft box tuned to 36hz. Getting a long enough vent will be a real trick.

This would make an absolutely awesome home theatre sub.

hmm, .. winisd says approx.10cm dia vents around 80cm long. (... wonder if you used an onken ultraflex style port (slits .. basically), .. could start from one side of the box and "wrap" the port around the box

other more knowledgable folks can comment.

hmmmm.... Might need to change the internal volume of the box... plus... a 31" hose at the rear will not look too nice.. not WAF applicable is it...

Anyway where can one get such a vent....

keep in mind you can always make a slot vent built into the box.
