Transmission Line - "C m/s"

I was wondering what the "C m/s" input in relation to the transmission line enclosure does?

..is "344" really "ideal"..?

Speed of sound defined as 344 m/sec in air is fine. It will change slightly when stuffing is added but probably will not go below 320 m/sec.

Don't use that calculator for TL sizing, it is not correct.

Unfortunately, there is no free lunch with TLs. You really need to do a lot more work desiging a TL then a bass reflex or acoustic suspension enclosure. A horn is even more work then a TL. The quality of the design is directly proportional to the effort expended.

at first i was thinking about copying the SEAS THOR TML for dual SEAS Lotus RW165 midwoofers because the woofers are somewhat similar..but after some searching, i found someone said that the enclosure was not well-designed, so now im thinking of designing my own..but i dont know the first thing about them....

ill figure it out someday.... unless someone has a design that will work well for them......?
