Hey all, I'm new to this so pardon me if I'm unclear or leave something out in the process of trying to explain what I'm after.
One of my firends just bought a house for us to live in for the remainder of school. The basement of said house has a wet bar and ceramic tile, and is about 500sq. ft. in size. I'm looking for a 2-channel audio setup that will provide accurate music reproduction with good volume across this area. The problem with this is, of course, my budget. Being a college student puts quite a strain on income, so I'm looking to keep the price of this project for the speakers under $200 if possible. Ideas for amplifiication would also be welcomed. So here's where I stand: I'm looking to build a pair of 3-way stereo speakers capable of filling the space mentioned with music. Any pointers or suggestions as to design, parts, or just general ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Clark |

Here's a 3-way design that costs just under $200 for everything but the wood. And you can get all the parts for it at one place.
