I am seeing a lot of advertisement for poly-mica speakers and wonder if they have any benefits?

I stay away from all these plastic cones, the reason being they have lots of modulations in larger cones and sound flat to most people, Technics used Mica in the late 80s with good results.
Which speakers are you looking at currently? |

I see them at discount places and on the web.
What do you recommend for a 2 way system? I am looking at the Morel Supreme 110 for a tweeter tough I can be persuaded if you have a better choice. Tom |

Hi Tom
I dont like to recommend anything, as its a personal choice and what one persons love another will hate. Ebay is a wonderful marlet place for brick a brack, are you just experimenting or looking for a high quality 2 way? The Morels are nice units, i little brighter than i like but good detail all round, whats your budget and what type of system and sound would you like. |

I like to see what can be built for around $100 complete for all drivers just to get my feet wet.
