Default how can I tape PVC with the protrudent ternimal jack (proac 2.5 clone)?

Hi,

I am going to finish my proac 2.5 clone, I am using the WBT terminal jack. I don't know how to tape the PVC on the rear cabinet with the protrudent terminal jack. Since the base of WBT jack is only about 1.5cm, I am using 3/4" MDF, so I melt 1/2" of the MDF inside. If I pull out the terminal jack and tape the PVC, then it would be somehow difficult to install the WBT jack and then connect it with my crossover. but if I don't pull out the ternimal jack, how can I tape the PVC?

thanks for any input
