Unhappy How much power???

I was recently fying on a plane with my brother when i pulled a little cheap headphones a little bit to hard and acidentaly stripped the insulation to just bare copper. I am just curious how much power do these things draw........ enough to harm electronics?? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

headphones rarely use uncoated copper even beneath the isulation. Typically it is coated with red green or clear varnish which insulates electricially. So is it really bare copper? better test with a meter(using the resistance setting test the wire for continuity with the plug).

Anyhow. I would suggest some electrical tape to cover over the bareness either was

I think 1watt max is pretty typical for headphones....
