Hello specialists, here comes my one of my first post, and don`t cry with my English
Few days ago I got my Scanspeak speakers witch I order months ago - they are R2904/70005 Ringrad tweeters and 15W/4531G00 midbasses. I order these speakers because I will install soon they in my CAR (I need to win some carsound SQ competitions in future thats becaue I choose so highly recommended speakers, also I have 12M/4631G00 to go 3-way in my car, but ok, thats speaker does`t matter) So before I install these pricey speakers in my car, I`m need to listen it in a simple enclousure - I try to make provisional loudspeakers because I need to listen speakers thats sounds simply good (the best) I admit to I ever do`t listen good loudspeakers that`s because in there in Estonia we are`nt so much developed and I havn`nt any chance to listen 1000-3000$ speakers Please give me advice, what kind of enclosure I need to build - 1 meter high floorstans http://home.hetnet.nl/~geenius/Optimo.html or little monitors (easy to build) http://www.geocities.com/chapin_m/madisound/twoway.jpg I dòn`t need extreme SPL, more flat frequency responce ...Oh of course I have to chance to change my 15W4531G00 to 18W4531G00 because they available my friend Maybe the enclosure answer is somewhere in the internet, but my language is not so good to understand some common and specifical things, so I guess some fanatics explain me to understand things easyer Thanks to all friends |

IMHO, Tony Gee's transmission line is going to demonstrate what these drivers are capable of much more than a small bookshelf enclosure will.
I don't understand the connection to car audio as it's a completely different environment but if your goal is the best sound build the TL. |
